While scrolling LinkedIn, I came across this super helpful and creative Tableau dashboard (below) by Rosa Mariana de Leon-E.
I decided to pin it here on my website so I remember to come back to it often.
- Bar charts, especially sorted bar charts, are super effective at showing what values are driving your result
- Oftentimes, too many bar charts can be boring… so this dashboard gives us many ways to spice it up
Click any bar in the embedded dashboard to jump to a page to see how it was built. I recommend downloading this dashboard and dissecting it to learn how each custom chart type is built.
Which ones are your favorite?
I particularly love the Jitter, Thermometer, and Negative Image bar charts. Make sure to review the links on how those are made!
